About GlovesReview

We help you find gloves that match the job, the weather, and your hands, without wading through confusing product pages.

Why we started

Gloves look simple until you actually need a good pair. One pair keeps your hands warm for ten minutes and then soaks through. Another grips a tool well but leaves your fingers numb. Product listings rarely explain why, and the difference between waterproof and water-resistant, or between types of insulation, is easy to miss. GlovesReview exists to clear that up in plain language.

What we cover

  • Winter and cold-weather gloves for shoveling, commuting, and outdoor work
  • Work gloves for yard jobs, trades, and everyday projects
  • Buying guides that explain materials, insulation, waterproofing, and sizing
  • Care guides on washing, drying, and waterproofing gloves so they last longer

How we choose what to recommend

We look at how a glove is built, what it is designed to do, how it fits, and what real owners report after extended use. We group products by the job they suit best rather than crowning one winner for everyone, because the right glove for a long, wet driveway is not the right glove for a quick walk to the car. When a product has trade-offs, we say so.

How we make money

GlovesReview is reader-supported. Some links on our site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. This never changes the price you pay, and it does not buy a better review. You can read the details on our Affiliate Disclosure page.

Our commitments to you

  • Plain-language writing with the trade-offs included
  • Clear labeling of affiliate links
  • Corrections when we get something wrong or details change
  • Respect for your privacy, as described in our Privacy Policy
